How to organize effective public information campaigns? How do we reach an audience in the regions? How do we measure impact of film screenings and festival events?
Society plays an important role in the political life of all Eastern Partnership and Visegrad countries, becoming a decisive factor in the political process. Initiatives that have a big impact on shaping the attitudes of a large part of the society in each country are therefore vital.
This is why five important film festivals from Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine and Georgia (One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, International Film Festival Watch Docs, Verzio International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival and CinéDOC-Tbilisi International Documentary Film Festival) have united themselves to implement a large scale common project that explores impact on the audience, promotes democratic values and human rights.
The innovative side of the project is that impact is seldom explored in such a diverse manner: “EXPLORE IMPACT” includes data-research, drafting a handbook on impact, networking meetings between festival representatives, presentations and master classes, workshops for regional coordinators and campaigns.
EXPLORE IMPACT has received the financial support of the Visegrad Fund
